FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Getting a quote

How do I get a price?

Use the 2-minute quote form — tell us your fence type, what's wrong, and add photos if you can. We review it and text you back with a real price, usually the same business day.

Do you charge for estimates?

No. Photo-based quotes are always free. If a job truly can't be priced from photos, we'll say so before anything is scheduled.

Do I have to be home for a quote?

No — that's the point. Your photos and answers replace the traditional sales visit entirely.

How accurate is a photo-based quote?

Very, for fence repair. Posts, panels, gates and rails are visible problems. If we find something unexpected on site, we talk to you before doing anything beyond the quoted scope.

Pricing

What does the $500 minimum include?

Up to 3 technician-hours of on-site repair work plus travel — enough to fully finish most common repairs. Materials are itemized separately at cost plus a standard markup.

What if the job runs longer?

After a 15-minute grace period, extra time is $95/hour in 30-minute increments. If your job looks likely to run over, we tell you up front.

How do I pay?

Card, check or cash on completion. You get an itemized invoice either way.

Scheduling & the repair

How soon can you come?

Most repairs are scheduled within 3–7 days of quote approval. Storm damage and safety issues (pool fences, dog containment) get priority.

Do I need to be home during the repair?

Usually not, as long as we can access the fence and reach you by phone. You'll get before-and-after photos either way.

What about my dog?

Tell us in the quote form. We'll coordinate timing so your dog is inside while the fence is open, and we make sure the yard is secure before we leave.

Do you work in winter?

Yes. Frozen ground slows post work a little, but repairs continue year-round — and winter is when wind damage happens.

What we do (and don't)

Do you install new fences?

No. Repairs only — wood, vinyl and aluminum. It's why your small job is our priority instead of an afterthought.

Do you repair chain-link fences?

No, we don't work on chain link. For wood, vinyl and aluminum, we're your people.

My fence is shared with a neighbor. How does that work?

Whoever hires us is our customer, but we're happy to keep both households informed, and we're careful about which side of the line we work from.

Is your work guaranteed?

Every repair carries a 1-year workmanship warranty. If our work fails within a year, we return and fix it at no charge. Details on the warranty page.
